Academic Faculty Dermatologist & Dermatopathologist

The Department of Dermatology at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine seeks a full-time academic Dermatologist with advanced training or eligibility in Dermatopathology. This individual will join a collegial, collaborative, and growing academic department dedicated to outstanding patient care, medical education, and scholarly activity.
This role is ideal for a Board-Certified Dermatologist who is Board Eligible (or Board Certified) in Dermatopathology and passionate about clinical practice, teaching, and academic growth in an integrated academic health system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care in both clinical dermatology and dermatopathology, including interpretation of biopsies and subspecialty consultative services.
- Participate in resident and medical student education within Dermatology and Dermatopathology training programs.
- Contribute to the Dermatopathology Fellowship, an ACGME-accredited one-year program with robust case volume and diverse pathology exposure.
- Engage in academic scholarship, quality improvement initiatives, and potentially clinical or translational research consistent with departmental goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pathology and dermatology colleagues across the institution.

Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. (or equivalent) with completion of an accredited Dermatology Residency
- Board Certification in Dermatology required
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Dermatopathology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic collaboration
