The Department of Pathology, Immunology, and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Section of Surgical Pathology (Division of Anatomic Pathology). The section provides comprehensive surgical pathology services at University Hospital, a 519-bed tertiary-care, core teaching hospital.

Responsibilities:

Provide diagnostic pathology services in surgical pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy; serve on the Surgical Pathology team and consult with clinical staff; participate in departmental educational programs, including teaching medical students and residents; and engage in scholarly activities. Participation in both autopsy and cytology services is required.

Minimum Requirements:

MD, DO, or equivalent; board certification or board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) or Anatomic Pathology (AP); and New Jersey State Medical License, or eligibility to obtain prior to start. All requirements are minimum requirements, and the employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
