About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced Pathologist for a 91-day assignment in New York, starting Mar 16, 2026. This role involves a schedule from 8a to 5p, with responsibilities encompassing general anatomic pathology, frozen section analysis, and cytology, including grossing specimens and cutting frozen sections.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform surgical pathology and cytology procedures
- Conduct general anatomic pathology, frozen section analysis, and cytology
- Be responsible for grossing own specimens and cutting own frozen sections on cryostat
- Manage a current surgical pathology volume of approximately 13,000 surgical specimens and 3,000 cytology specimens per year
- Required procedures include Surgical Pathology and Cytology
- Cytology Proficiency Exam Required for GYN Cytology
