About the Role:

Lead, influence and shape the future of Speech Pathology services across one of Victoria’s large regional health services.

Goulburn Valley Health is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to lead our Speech Pathology service and make a meaningful contribution to healthcare outcomes across the region.

This permanent full-time leadership opportunity offers the chance the drive service innovation, support workforce development and influence strategic direction across acute, subacute, outpatient and specialist programs. You will provide clinical governance, operational leadership and strategic direction, whilst supporting patient flow and improving outcomes across the care continuum, and maintaining an appropriate clinical caseload as required.

Relocating to our region:

Relocation incentives may be available to the successful applicant for this role, including relocation & accommodation support. 

Relocation Support:

• Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500
• Interstate - up to $5,000
• Overseas - up to $8,000

Accommodation Support: 

• Up to $350 per week up to 10 weeks; or
• 10 weeks interim GVH Accommodation (if available)

Requirements

About you:

• Strong clinical Speech Pathology experience
• Demonstrated leadership capability or readiness to step into a management role
• Experience supporting service improvement, patient flow, workforce development and clinical governance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A collaborative and patient-centred approach to leadership
• Commitment to team and self-development
   

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Eligibility for Certified Practicing membership (Speech Pathology Australia)
• Current driver’s licence
