About the PositionOur client is seeking a dedicated Pathologist for an 80-day assignment in New York, commencing Sep 7, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive coverage for surgical pathology and non-GYN cytology during weekdays from 8am to 5pm, including frozen section diagnosis and rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide diagnostic evaluation of surgical pathology specimens, frozen sections, conferences/tumor board.
- Provide coverage for surgical pathology and non-GYN cytology during weekdays 8am-5pm.
- Provide coverage for frozen section diagnosis and rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE).
- Perform 2-5 frozen sections per week and 5-8 ROSE procedures per week.
- No autopsy coverage is required.
- Review and sign out surgical pathology biopsies, excision, and resection cases.
- Review and sign out cytopathology cases.
