Job Summary:
The Lab Pathologist Assistant provides anatomic pathology services under the direction and supervision of a Pathologist. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and performance of human surgical specimen dissection, as well as human postmortem examinations with subsequent dissection, submission of samples, and dictation of gross findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience
- Completion of a Pathology Assistance Training Program
- Pathologist's Assistant certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
