Job Description:

Responsible for assisting with gross descriptions and dissection of surgical tissues; submits specimens for laboratory testing; summarizes patients' medical history.

Responsibilities:

• Performs procedures within the specialty of the supervising physician
• Provides assistance with the gross description and dissection of surgical tissues
• Submits specimens for histological and other laboratory testing
• Summarizes patients' medical history

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Health Science or Pathology
• ASCP Certification
• 1 year of technical experience in a healthcare setting
• Intermittent hand manipulation required
• Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 lbs
