- Location: 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015 — Work on-site in a modern hospital laboratory in vibrant Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
- Setting: Hospital Laboratory / Medical Laboratory
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 40
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Pathology Assistant or Pathologists' Assistant studies (required)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Pathology Assistant preferred
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team in a hospital laboratory
- Experience with surgical pathology grossing, specimen handling, and autopsy assistance is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pathologists with preparation, gross examination, and dissection of surgical specimens (grossing)
- Perform autopsy procedures under supervision and assist with postmortem examinations
- Ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and chain-of-custody for specimens
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; follow safety and quality control protocols
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, histology, and clinical teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely specimen processing
